Unbound sells an Agent Access Security Broker, or AASB, that discovers AI coding agents and MCP servers, assesses their risk, and enforces policies over what they can see, touch, and do. It works through complementary controls: native hooks at the coding-agent account level enforce organization-wide policy when developers sign in, while a workstation-level agent can be distributed through enterprise MDM tools such as JAMF, Intune, and Kandji. The platform covers terminal commands, MCP actions, sensitive-data flows, approvals, environment segregation, and high-impact workflows, with web-dashboard posture scoring and continuous discovery.

The delivery model combines a free discovery tier, a Pro plan priced at $10 per user per month, and enterprise governance priced from $18 per user per month with custom integrations, CI/CD and gateway controls, support, policy workshops, and service-level commitments. Unbound is designed to preserve existing developer workflows rather than replace their coding agents; it provides visibility and enforcement while claiming that code need not be copied to or stored in Unbound’s cloud. Enterprises can also route sensitive requests to private model infrastructure such as AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.

Unbound competes in the emerging AI security and governance market, positioning AASB as a new category between enterprise security controls and AI-agent infrastructure.
